The Independent Club Licensing Committee of the Football Association of Ireland met yesterday evening and awarded UEFA Licences to four SSE Airtricity League clubs for the 2016-17 UEFA Club competition season.
Dundalk FC will be entered in the UEFA Champions League while Cork City FC, Saint Patrick’s Athletic FC and Shamrock Rovers will be entered in the Europa League.
