The Malone Cup is headed back up the M1 to north Louth tonight after Dundalk defeated local rivals Drogheda 2-0 in United Park.
Two goals on 34 & 74 minutes from striker Ciaran Kilduff secured the victory.
Dundalk’s next fixture is the Presidents Cup against Cork City in Cork next Saturday while Drogheda will face Bohs on Monday in the Leinster Senior Cup.
